💥OSSAA Dead Period💥

❗️OSSAA DEAD PERIOD REMINDER❗️

OSSAA Dead Period begins June 27th - July 5.

During Dead Period:

🚫 Student-athletes may not participate in any school athletic activities.
🚫 Coaches may not have athletic-related contact with student-athletes.
🚫 All school athletic facilities will be closed.

✅ Normal operations may resume on Monday, July 6.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing break with family and friends. We look forward to seeing our Buffaloes back and ready to work after the dead period!

❗️HUGO ATHLETICS – RANK ONE ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION ❗️

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, the OSSAA is requiring all student-athletes in grades 7-12 to complete athletic eligibility forms through the Rank One platform.

The attached guide will walk parents and guardians through the entire process of creating an account, adding their student-athlete, and completing all required forms.

To get started, visit the Hugo Rank One Parent Portal:

Parents/guardians or students who are 18 years old will need to create an account and add their student before completing the eligibility forms.

To add a student, you will need your student’s last name and school ID number. If your student does not know their ID number, please contact Coach Trent at [email protected].

⚠️ Important Information:

• All student-athletes in grades 7-12 must complete both OSSAA eligibility forms before participating in athletics.

• Eligibility Form 1 should show Complete.

• Eligibility Form 2 should show Pending Approval or Approved after submission.

• A current physical must be on file each school year. You can print the physical form from Rank One to take to the doctor, and then the completed physical must be turned in to Coach Trent.

• Additional athletic forms will be required and should be completed through Rank One.

📅 We encourage families to complete these forms as soon as possible to avoid delays when practices and activities begin.

❗️Basketball Camp Update❗️

Due to the number of students we have 9th-12th grade, we are going to adjust the basketball camp schedule for the remainder of the week.

❗️7th-8th grade boys and girls will now attend the first session at 8:30am.

8:30 AM - 11:30 AM: 3rd-8th Grade Boys & Girls
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: 9th-12th Grade Boys & Girls
