Join us this Sunday for Laity Sunday, set aside to celebrate the ministry to which all Christians are called. The Book of Discipline reminds us that “The witness of the laity … is the primary evangelistic ministry through which all people will come to know Christ and the United Methodist Church will fulfill its mission.” (pp 127) Our church, indeed the global church, thrives and has been passed down through the ages by those whose primary vocation is to be in the world-- teaching, making, caring for one another. The Body of Christ is strongest together! Our lay leader, Bruce Berman, will be preaching.
