Do you know about our fabulous programs for adults? Last week was Scone Age Tea Party. This week, it's Lit Chat on Thursday at 1pm and Adult Ice Cream Taste Test on Friday at 4:30pm (registration required). Check out hcpl.net to see all our programs, register for them, and also sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge.

This week, TEENS can taste test various snacks at Teen Taste Test on Wednesday at 3pm, discover the joy of a book fair at Read It and Eat! Teen Book Club on Thursday at 3pm, and if they are signed up for the Atascocita Summer Reading Challenge, they can stay late at the library for Pajama Jam on Friday at 6:30pm! At Pajama Jam, you can enjoy pizza, pick your favorite childhood movie to watch, play Ping Pong and video games, and create awesome crafts. Permission slips are required so ask at the front desk.
Summer reading literally kicked off with karate classes from Team Karate Academy! Our official kickoff party is this Friday from 10am-12pm with our Carnival! Rain or shine we will have carnival games and prizes!
The countdown begins for our Summer Reading Kickoff Carnival on Friday, June 5th from 10am-12pm! Can you guess this year's theme? Sign up for summer reading at Atascocita and get a free ice pop! Join us for a morning of carnival games and visit with our community partners Brooklyn Pizzeria Raising Cane's PNC and Humana All ages are welcome and the program will take place outside.
