Opened this one up and it pretty much told the story for us.

When you start seeing broken pieces like this, something has been going wrong for a while. Heat, wear, contamination, lack of lubrication, overloading, could be a few things. But by the time it gets to this point, it is no longer a small repair.

This is why we always tell customers, if a pump or motor starts getting noisy, running hot, or acting different, don’t ignore it.

A little inspection early can save a whole lot of money later.

This one had a bad day.

This is what it looks like before it all goes back together.

Last post I talked about keeping seals organized. This is why it matters.

When everything is laid out, sized right, and easy to grab, you’re not guessing.
You’re not digging through bins. You’re not trying to make something “work.”
You’re picking the right seal, the first time, and getting straight to work.

That efficiency adds up. Less time on the bench, less chance of mistakes, and more confidence when it goes back out the door.

Because the reality is, most failures don’t come from the big components on this table. They come from the small stuff. The wrong seal, the wrong material, or something that should’ve been caught before assembly.

Organization might not be the exciting part of the job, but it’s one of the most important.

Do it right here, and everything downstream runs smoother Texas Fluid Power - Hydraulic Repair Services
