Your story is magical. Your wedding should be too. Be comfortable with the planning process and happy at your own inspiring and memorable wedding.

Parenthood doesn’t press pause for wedding vows 😂✨ Laura and Paddy were in the middle of the most emotional promises to each other and their little girl was just living her best life, running around and playing with mum’s dress. It was so funny and honestly the most real thing ever, kids just don’t wait, not even for vows. But that’s the beauty of it, your little one is part of the story too and it makes those moments even more special. A reminder that love isn’t just about two people, it’s about the family you’ve built together and the chaos that comes with it and we love to see it. ✨ #lovelens 11/02/2025

If the couple has a child at their wedding, I always help them include the child[ren] as they gather to create a family, which will be the stable foundation for them and their children. However, during their wedding ceremony it is important that I support the bride and groom in creating loving boundaries because as bride and groom they need to do the emotional work of facing each other spiritually and fully openly with no distraction so that they can focus on the profound commitment that they are making. If I would have allowed this moment you see here in this video, I would have betrayed my commitment ton bride and groom to "watch their back" and I know that there would be unexpressed, buried feelings of having been cheated and that negativity can unduly challenge the success of the couple's mission to create a strong marriage. The video title is incorrect; parenthood DOES pause for wedding vows and exchange of rings. This little girl is not "living her best life" with parents who who can't protect their own boundaries and will, most likely, not be able to protect their daughter's boundaries. So sad to see this. This dynamic is something that I discuss in depth with each couple who brings child[ren] to the wedding so that the 'spiritual choreography' and 'emotional landscape' is deeply supportive of their future family and grounded in that ceremonial transformative moment that every bride and groom needs and deserves. It is sad to see that this couple was denied that and all people could do was laugh and dismiss how their goal and future were undermined by an officiant who did not know how to "protect their back." https://www.facebook.com/reel/2027207424751632
