With the weekend weather dropping below freezing please read the quick tips below on how to open frozen car doors.

You could:
1. Don't forget to try another door.
2. Place your hand flat on the card door and give it a firm push. (especially for those with only key-fob access)
3. Hand Sanitizer. Yes, that comes in handy so dab a bit of hand sanitizer on your key system and gently maneuver it into the frozen lock.
4. Use an aerosol de-icer or WD-40.
5. Use your warm breath to blow into the lock cylinder.
6. Last, don't leave the house without double checking for the keycode for those who have a keypad option.
