Shiro At Bakersfield is SAFE with us!! We had a lovely foster step up for him. Shiro was originally abandoned at a business by a homeless individual. Someone called AC and he got picked up and taken to the shelter. He was severely kennel stressed to the point he was affecting the other pups so he was scheduled to be killed 4 days after arrival. We couldn’t let that happen. Not when we had so many rooting for him. Look at this sweet boy. He’s so gentle and lovely and is thriving outside of the shelter. His foster mama loves him to pieces and is allowing him to decompress currently.

Update on our sweet scared little rottie Jackson. This little bug was so scared he couldn’t even walk! Our transporter adored him to pieces as well and he was her copilot the whole way! We love you so much Jackson. Thank you to all involved with his rescue @lola_madonna @frameyourfeline @thejacksonasher @kathrynzav and his transport and adopter ❤️

One can not just pull a dog freely and not have anyone to answer to. The shelters follow up with rescues and take their pull rights if they are noncompliant. It happens all the time. Fortunately, Capone’s has pull rights all over California.We can pull from almost any shelter to help dogs. We are in good standing with all our shelter partners and those who tried to slander us were told the same and reluctantly apologized. They will have their day in court for defaming and libel against a nonprofit organization when all it took instead was to take the extra steps to educate themselves. Unfortunately, so many lack the wherewithal to do a little extra work and find the truth. we have been working diligently to secure a property for our foster dogs to have a safe haven to come to. We never say no to helping but unfortunately we have been unable to and if you need a rescue, please know we do want to help but a few bad apples will ruin it for the bunch. 🍎 HAPPY HOLIDAYS
