Airtech x Les P’tits Doudous: an eco-responsible adventure at sea
We’re proud to support “Une course pour grandir” – the IMOCA Les P’tits Doudous, led by skipper Armel Tripon. This innovative boat combines offshore racing performance with a strong spirit of solidarity.
⛵ Built with 70% repurposed aerospace carbon fiber, the IMOCA cuts its carbon footprint by 50% compared to a traditional build.
♻️ With our vacuum bagging solutions, such as Biolon (bio-based nylon) and Bioweave, along with a new film recycling initiative, Airtech combines high performance with responsible innovation to bring sustainable solutions to life and support the success of this project.
🤝 The project supports Les P’tits Doudous, an association improving the hospital experience for children and their parents - a cause that perfectly reflects our values : sustainable innovation and positive impact, including the recycling of materials.
⛵🧑‍✈️ The boat has been in the water since June 2025 and just completed the first race. Armel shares with us: “We’re very happy with the boat, it’s incredibly positive. Structurally, nothing has moved, which gives us total confidence. The composite structure and rigging system are impeccable.”
