UPDATE - NATURAL GAS PRICE CRISIS:
We have some Great News to report. We are able to offer a small PRICE REDUCTION on our Dryers!!!

We should all now be familiar with the Natural Gas Pricing Crisis that occurred early this year. As a consequence, Perfect Wash - Express Laundry Center was forced to increase our dryer prices about 40%. At that time, we also promised that the ownership was attempting to secure a fixed contract price for a year or more for natural gas commodity. And we did! For the next year, the price per therm is locked in, and so will be the price for the dryers. No more wondering if the dryers will be more expensive on your next laundry day.

Since the fixed price is fairly reasonable, we are now able to partially roll back part of that 40% increase to the level the prices would have been (now) had this crisis not occurred.

We are so relieved to have this volatile pricing behind us (at least for now), and to return to a normal pricing strategy which we always make sure is fair for our customers while maintaining our ability to continue to offer you the best laundry experience possible.

UPDATE - NATURAL GAS PRICE CRISIS:
Good news to report, we DO NOT have to DOUBLE the Dryer Prices!!

In late January we posted about the drastic increase of natural gas prices, which we know everyone has felt. At that point it seemed that we would likely HAVE to DOUBLE the prices of our Dryers to keep up with the trajectory of the cost of running them.

Due to a reaction by SoCal Gas to apply "climate credits" towards the bill this coming period, the cost per therm won't be nearly as high as it was last month and helps greatly. So instead of a 100% increase, we can scale that back to around 40%. It's our intention (and the upcoming commodity prices will determine this) to hold these prices for as long as we can.

The owner is currently in discussions with an energy broker trying to secure an alternate source for procuring natural gas from outside of CA. If this is able to come to fruition, a potential price break could be considered by summertime. But let's stay cautiously optimistic about that and the direction the cost of natural gas is going for the time being.

Lastly, all of us at Perfect Wash know that any price increase in a necessity offering such as ours will hurt, and we do not take that lightly. Many hours have already been poured into this issue and several price scenarios have been evaluated, especially since the upcoming costs have been a moving target. We promised you in January and are renewing that now, WE WILL ALWAYS BE REASONABLE. Our customers are EVERYTHING to us.
