The story goes that the Last Word was born during Prohibition-era Detroit at the Detroit Athletic Club — then disappeared for decades before becoming one of the most iconic modern classics.

Equal parts gin, lime, maraschino, and the unmistakable green glow of Green Chartreuse.

Chartreuse itself is made by Carthusian monks in French Alps using a secret recipe of 130 herbs, plants, and flowers — a formula so protected only a few monks know it at a time.

The Last Word eventually became the inspiration behind our name — because like the cocktail, we wanted something bold, unforgettable, and built to leave an impression long after the final sip.
