Here's the story about these earrings. If you don't know what Pinterest is (seriously check it out), it's like a digital scrapbook for saving or 'pinning' pictures of all sorts of creations, designs, and ideas that other people have posted for viewing. I had pinned to my jewelry page, a set of steampunk earrings called "Flight of Fancy" by about a year ago. Since then, people that visited my page have REpinned this to their pages around 850 times. Seriously, I get notifications daily that someone has repinned something from my page to theirs and it's almost always this picture. Since it was so popular, I decided I HAD to make a pair even though it wasn't my design. The jewelry making community frowns upon copying designs so I just wanted to make it clear that I did not design it. Also, tracking down the parts was very difficult and took some deep diving into the interwebs. But, finally, I found them (not cheaply), and created these. I hope you enjoy, because there will only be a very limited number of sets made. I will however, be creating some of my own wirewrapped designs in addition to these.
