This Mother's Day, we're lifting up some of the most devoted, selfless, fierce mamas we've ever had the honor of knowing — and they happen to have four legs, whiskers, or wagging tails. 🐶🐱

These incredible mama dogs and mama cats came to us with tiny lives depending on them. In the middle of uncertainty, in a place they didn't know, they never stopped showing up for their babies. They cleaned them, nursed them, curled around them, and purred and nuzzled away every fear.

If you've ever watched a mama dog gently nuzzle her puppies to sleep, or a mama cat tuck her kittens under her chin — you already know. Love looks exactly like that. 💔➡️💛
