Today, House Republicans passed the Secure America Act, which funds America’s border security and immigration enforcement through President Trump’s term.

Democrats spent months attempting to block the resources needed to fully implement President Trump’s successful border security agenda and force concessions that would weaken immigration enforcement.

This legislation rejects those efforts and ensures the President’s agenda can move forward without future Democrat obstruction, delivering the personnel, technology, detention capacity, and operational support needed to accelerate removals, target criminal illegal aliens, strengthen border security, and build on the progress already achieved under President Trump’s leadership.

While I’m back in D.C. this week, I've sent my local team to areas of North Alabama impacted by severe flooding. My office has been in contact with county emergency management, and I will continue to monitor conditions as the situation develops. With more rain in the forecast this week, I encourage folks to stay informed, plan alternate routes, and have a plan in place if flash flooding arises.
