Reason #463 why bunnies should not be turned loose to fend for themselves. Dumping a rabbit is is not "setting them free". Dumping is cruel and illegal. Dumping means starvation, and/or death due heat stroke and dehydration or dying of freezing temperatures. Dumping means dying a frightening death due to predators or painful parasites. This poor boy has beaten the odds. He spent a year on his own, and while he is now in our care and his pain is being managed, he's got a lot of recovery ahead of him.This didn't have to happen to him!
