I had the pleasure of being on the North AL AIA's dreamARCHITECTURE 2026 jury for this year's Dream Hotel project...not having any littles around anymore, it was a true joy to take in all of the goodness that 1st Grade imaginations can bring! Their narratives and artwork (blurred on purpose) made my day.

PHD Hotels, Inc. has recently taken ownership of this great property and Pinkerton & Laws is chomping at the bit to get mobilized and begin with the exterior refresh.

The great folks at Phillips Gradick Engineering will be joining the fray as they have for the past 25+ years, and they’ll get started as soon as I get the base sheet drawings ready for them.

2026 is already shaping up to be a busy year!
