Huron Community Foundation

Dave Syverson with the Huron Police Department on behalf of the SHOP WITH A COP program accepted a check from the HCF Sub-Fund Wheeler Family Fund. David and Ron Wheeler presented the check. Thank you, Wheeler Family for supporting such a wonderful and meaningful program.

A check was recently presented to the Huron Fire Department/Rural Fire Department for equipment needs from the HCF Steve and Karen Marcus Sub-Fund. From the left is Huron Fire Department Chief John Miller, Steve Marcus, Karen Marcus, Huron City Commissioner and fire department liaison Shawn Harvey and firefighter Rusty Toupal. Great things continue to occur in Downtown Huron-The Roundhouse District.
Huron Community Foundation Council members-Heather Burns-who is also chair of the HR2.0 Downtown Development Committee, Spencer White, Charlie Bragg and Nancy Schiltz present a check to the Huron Rising 2.0 Downtown Development committee members Brianna Johnson and Bush Fullerton. Funds will be used for placement of historic plaques on downtown businesses.
