Barnes Nursery, Inc. operates one of the most successful regional composting facilities in Ohio.
Our Huron Compost Facility (1630 Camp Road, Huron, OH 44839) will be CLOSED on Monday, January 26, 2026 due to forecasted cold temperatures, high winds and snow/ice.
Barnes Composting Division Update…
As of 12/22/2025, our Elyria Compost Facility and Bellevue Compost Facility are both CLOSED for the season/year. Both will Re-Open on April 1, 2026.

Monday - Friday: 8am-5pm
Saturday - Sunday: CLOSED
*We will resume weekends again in April 2026.
