If you don’t always see me posting every day, it’s not because I’ve disappeared. It’s because I’m out meeting with clients, chasing sponsors, coordinating vendors, solving problems, building partnerships, and helping turn ideas into meaningful community events.

A little reintroduction felt overdue 👋

I’m Nicky Bee, the person behind Great Lakes Event Works.

Most of what I do happens before the public ever sees the event — the sponsor follow-ups, vendor details, forms, timelines, spreadsheets, phone calls, and all the “wait… who’s handling that?” moments. 😅

It’s not always the glamorous part, but it’s the part that keeps events from turning into full-blown chaos.

I started Great Lakes Event Works because I love community events, but I also know they take a lot more than good ideas and good intentions. They need structure, communication, follow-through, and someone willing to keep track of the moving pieces.

That’s where I come in. 📝

I help with sponsorship planning, vendor coordination, event logistics, and the behind-the-scenes systems that help events run smoother and make more sense for everyone involved.

So if you’ve seen me around with my phone in one hand, a list in the other, and 14 things happening in my brain… now you know why. 😂

I’m grateful to be part of events that bring people together, support local businesses, and create something fun for the community.

In all the fun, chaos, laughs, long days, and unforgettable memories of Rally Point at the Ranch, (and probably some tears) I somehow forgot to take the most important picture. 😂

All kidding aside, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Julie.

Julie took a chance on me and trusted me to help bring Bike Week to life. Through the crazy ideas, endless phone calls, event planning, problem solving, victories, setbacks, and everything in between, year one of Rally Point at The Ranch has officially come to an end.

The AI may not have gotten our faces quite right, but it could never capture how grateful I am for the experience I gained the last two weeks together.

We were looking “chopped” late one night so we did a bad biker chick filter!

BUT that’s not the point of this post, this girl and Kevin Bebout has become family over the last week!!

Mad respect to Jasmine Cain for being fierce, fearless, energetic, understanding, fun, and every other positive word I can’t think of.

But more than that, mad respect for her heart. ❤️

The heart to pour herself into creating experiences that bring people together. The heart to give a community memories that will stick with them long after the bikes are parked and the music fades.

Watching Jasmine ride out with her Rockstar Ride Crew was something special, and seeing the smiles she created for so many people made it even better.

Thank you, Jasmine, for being exactly who you are. 🏍️
