These sweet little geese felt perfect for a playful baby card—soft colors, tiny details, and just enough whimsy to celebrate a brand new arrival. Framed it all with the Doodle Frame die from .stamps for that extra cozy touch.

Silly Goose! stamps & dies

Crop on the Cape was just last weekend and I’m already wishing we could do it again! This was my fourth year attending this crafting retreat on Cape Cod and it continues to be one of my favorite weekends of the year.

This year’s highlights include:

My mom finally joining us at the tables! I loved seeing her excitement as she tried watercolor painting for the first time.

Taking a mixed media book binding class with ! Mixed media is something I love to do but rarely make time for so it’s always fun to dabble in it at the retreat!

Giving a fellow crafter a die cutting demo! A scrapbooker who has never diecut before passed by and saw that I was using my die cutting machine. I offered to demonstrate how to use it and she came back with her paper and die and I got to show her how easy the process is. And of course we got to chatting about ourselves. One of the best parts of the weekend is connecting with strangers over our love for this hobby!

And of course the best part is hanging out with the gals that I really only get to see once a year. Thanks for the laughs ladies!

I’m heading back to today! This is my fourth year attending this weekend crafting retreat and I could not be more excited!

In honor of the occasion, I’m sharing a card that I made at least year’s retreat! This card is a bit outside of my usual style, mostly because it has so many little details. It is one of my all-time favorite cards I’ve made!
