•Wear a hat or scarf to shield them from snow or rain
•Dry them off immediately with a soft, clean cloth
Holiday gatherings can feel overwhelming when you have hearing loss, but these tips can help you enjoy the fun:
• Choose your spot wisely. Sit with your back to a wall so you can face the group
• Charge your hearing aids or change the batteries before the party
• Take short breaks to rest your ears
• Ask friends to speak clearly or a little slower if needed
