❄️ WINTER SOLSTICE ❄️ Do you feel the winds of change? A collective shift, a stirring of the soul, a transformation approaching just beyond the horizon? We feel this energy deep within, burning bright amidst the chill of winter. But now is the time for stillness, not action. So we carry the promise of new beginnings like a light in the dark, guiding us into the new year. For the S:::x Magic Podcast, our final few episodes of the podcast will be released the rest of this month. After three beautiful years sharing conversations on the topic of S:::xuality and spirituality, we will be closing the chapter on the S:::x Magic Podcast ~ but the S:::x Magic Society lives on. 
After January 1, the S:::x Magic Society will be taking a three month hiatus, from the Winter Solstice through the Spring Equinox. At that time, we will be sharing with you what is to come for the S:::x Magic Society. 
Until then, let us delight in our monthly theme for December: Illumination. In the darkest season along the wheel of the year, we turn inwards to find the everlasting flame within us. We tend to our inner fires by surrendering to the subconscious, nourishing our bodies, getting lots of rest, and journeying through our dreams. This time of year is aligned with the energy of the Crone, of Death, of the Fertile Void. 
The Winter Solstice marks the return of the light. The longest night and the shortest day, it is along this seasonal shift that the Sun makes its returns. Of course religions and cultures have myths that align with this theme (we’re talking to you, sweet Jesus, Sun King!)
While the culture asks us to stay busy and festive, our natural cycles beg us to do the opposite. If you slow down and listen to the quiet of your body, what does it need? I invite you to return to the Old Ways. To the ancient rhythms of the earth and cosmos, luring us back into harmony with the traditions of our grandmothers. In the darkness of your mysterious being, you will find the enlightenment you seek.
