Update
The Wolf Fire is currently estimated at approximately 1,200 acres, with firefighters making solid progress toward containment.
🚫 Hwy 243 from Banning to Alandale is CLOSED and will remain closed until further notice.
βœ… There are NO evacuation orders in place for Idyllwild. The fire does NOT pose a threat to the Idyllwild community at this time and no threat is anticipated from this incident.
πŸš— For off-the-hill travel, use Hwy 243 south of Idyllwild.
πŸš’ IFPD has one brush engine assigned to the Wolf Fire. Additionally, we’re supporting the San Bernardino National Forest with three engines, a hand crew, and a water tender covering the San Jacinto Ranger District.
