Update
The Wolf Fire is currently estimated at approximately 1,200 acres, with firefighters making solid progress toward containment.
π« Hwy 243 from Banning to Alandale is CLOSED and will remain closed until further notice.

There are NO evacuation orders in place for Idyllwild. The fire does NOT pose a threat to the Idyllwild community at this time and no threat is anticipated from this incident.
π For off-the-hill travel, use Hwy 243 south of Idyllwild.
π IFPD has one brush engine assigned to the Wolf Fire. Additionally, weβre supporting the San Bernardino National Forest with three engines, a hand crew, and a water tender covering the San Jacinto Ranger District.
