3. Growing up, I would rope in anyone who would let me - friends, siblings, cousins - into creating “businesses” with me. I guess you can say I’ve always had that entrepreneurial spirit! (And no, my newspaper, radio station, or convenience store never took off the way I had hoped.) 🙈

3 tips when choosing your wedding vendors ✨

• Make a list of vendors by category and pick 3 that you could see yourself working with based on personal connection and their portfolio. Everybody knows “somebody who works in the wedding industry” but that doesn’t always mean they are an experienced professional. Personal recommendations are wonderful, but do your own research!

• After narrowing down to your top 3, have a consultation to talk about your needs and expectations AND personal details! It’s important to find a good fit for you and also for them! The most successful client-vendor relationships have open communication and trust because of their connection.

• After making your decision, let the other vendors know. Nobody likes to be ghosted. 👻 (Insider tip: They will understand AND appreciate you letting them know!)
