Sometimes the best decision is to stop pushing forward. If visibility drops so much that you cannot clearly see the road, other cars, or what is ahead, it is time to slow down and get to a safe place if you can.
That might mean pulling off the road, waiting for conditions to improve, and giving yourself a moment before starting again. Trying to force your way through low visibility usually makes a bad situation harder to control.

The most common issue is tint that is simply too dark, especially on the front side windows. In Ohio, those front side windows generally need to let in at least 50 percent of light, so when they look darker than that, it can draw attention during a stop.
Another common problem is reflective or mirrored film. Ohio does not allow reflectorized material on the windshield, side windows, or rear window, so even tint that does not seem overly dark can still lead to trouble if it has that shiny finish.
