As many may have noticed I have closed Live Free Tattoo on the first of this month. It wasn’t an easy decision to close possibly the oldest  continuously operating tattoo studio in the area. But in the end my options were harsh and bleak. There are older organizations though not in their original locations. Freaks on Broadway may be older though I’m not sure when they moved next door to the original shop. The building is a part of tattooing history with many artists who cut their teeth there moving on to great careers locally and nationally. I am proud to have tattooed there just a few months shy of a decade servicing the people of independence and will sorely miss what was essentially my home.
