If you’ve ever been in our store, you’ve seen our slogan, “Mission W.O.W. (Women, Orphans, and Widows).” However, when we say “WOWZA,” it’s because you BLEW US AWAY yesterday during our Grand Reopening!!!

In the 17 years we’ve been in operation, we’ve NEVER had a day like yesterday… EVER!!!
•Nearly 100 people were in the doors at opening
•Over 800 individuals (many new customers to us) flooded the store
•3 registers could not keep up with the lines of people, sometimes forming 2 lines all the way to the back of the store
•We sold more merchandise and made more sales in the history of our operation!

You all were so encouraging with your praise of how amazing and transformative the new location is. It was chilly and rainy, but our team was moved to tears to see so many people lined up outside our doors before opening. The countless hours our team has worked for the past 35 solid days made everything worth our while!

We can’t say anything but, “Thank you!”

Let’s do it again today!!!

We’re open 10 to 6 (new hours for Wednesday). Stop and shop today!

***UPDATE for SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2026***

Over 250 of you showed up yesterday with the intentions of shopping or donating! You blew us away! Thank you for the excitement you displayed… it encouraged us greatly on such a disappointing day.

I wish I had better news this morning; however, we still do not have the clearance needed from the city in order to open today. So we will have to postpone opening again. 😭😭😭

As frustrating as it, I want to assure you that this was simply a misunderstanding from our end with the City of Independence. We were sure everything was filed correctly, and it was, but there was an oversight on a permit that had been filed. We are working closely with the city to get everything resolved as quickly as possible.

So, we will continue stocking, cleaning, painting, and whatever else to make our new home the best shopping experience for you for when we do open!

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***

Due to reasons beyond our control, we WILL NOT be able to open TODAY, MAY 1, 2026. Because of some confusion on our part, we missed a vital inspection that is keeping us from opening. And, unfortunately, we DO NOT have a solid date to announce for opening.

We are just as sad and disappointed as you are! We have spent countless hours between the two locations, working diligently every single day to give you the absolute best shopping experience in our new home. But, rest assure, YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS PLACE!
