Our Story
Well, hi there! I'm Jennifer Liles, LCSW, though I go by Jenni. In my day job I'm a clinical social worker in private practice. The rest of the time, I'm a writer, a social justice druid, knitter, gardener, wife and mother with not enough time and too much to do.
Every day I try to live life with enthusiasm and compassion in equal shares. Here I share my triumphs and struggles, and the benefits of my experiences and professional training, as well as my enthusiasm for geek culture and reading and good television and movies.
At the Out of My Mind website I cover topics from parenting to relationships, basic civics to understanding inequality and how to make thing better, and coping skills to understanding how mental and physical health affect you.
