Scott Berger For State Representative

Had a great time Sponsoring and volunteering at the 1st annual Freedom Isn’t Free 5K trail race this morning. All proceeds were donated to Chapter 38 and earmarked for Gold Star Families.

This Memorial Day, I remember my friend from basic training, SSG Anthony D. Davis.

Anthony gave his life in service to this country on January 6, 2009. He was a U.S. Army Ranger, a warrior, and a man who answered the call to serve with courage and honor.

For many, Memorial Day is a long weekend. But for families, friends, and brothers-in-arms who have lost someone, it is a reminder of the price that freedom truly costs.

I will never forget the time we shared in basic training, the brotherhood, or the sacrifice he made for this nation.

Please take a moment today to remember those who never made it home.

We’re just getting started. Kentucky deserves strong conservative leadership that answers to the people, not the political machine.

This campaign gave me something far greater than votes.

It gave me friendships.

When you spend months walking neighborhoods, knocking doors, and listening to people’s stories, something special happens. Complete strangers become friends. Neighbors become family. And sometimes God places people in your path exactly when you need them most.

This message from Judy absolutely touched my heart tonight.

Moments like these reminded me every single day why this journey mattered. Not because of politics. Not because of titles. But because of PEOPLE.

No matter what happens in life, I truly believe the friendships built through faith, kindness, and genuine connection are eternal.

To every person who opened their door to me, prayed for me, encouraged me, or simply shared a few moments of conversation… thank you. You made this journey unforgettable.

District 64,

While last nights outcome was not what we hoped for, I want to sincerely thank every single person who stood with us throughout this campaign.

To every single person who silently helped us, prayed for us, encouraged us, donated, knocked doors, made calls, shared posts, or simply believed in what we were fighting for — thank you. And to the almost 2500 people who voted for me..... THANK YOU!

This campaign was never about political insiders or special interests. It was about ordinary people who love their community and wanted their voices heard. I am incredibly grateful for the friendships, support, and encouragement we received every single day on the campaign trail.

Though we came up short, I do not view this effort as a failure. We built something real, brought important issues to the forefront, and proved that people are hungry for authentic leadership and accountability.

Most importantly, thank you to my wife, family, friends, and supporters who stood beside me through every challenge and every long day. Your support meant more than words can express.

I remain proud of the campaign we ran, proud of the conversations we started, and proud of every person who believed enough to stand with us.
