Our Story

Our “brick & mortar” shop has closed, but we’re thrilled to be transitioning to the world of ONLINE Charity Resale! We’ll also be selling items locally from Indian Trail, NC with local pick-up options. As always... your purchases will support the life-changing work of Common Heart! With a mission to spread “A Small Revolution of Kindness” Common Things will continue to help support the bee hive of activity that is always going on at Common Heart to help those in need.

The largest of our efforts is our food pantries, but we also provide Economic Empowerment programs for families living in poverty, adult literacy, free tax preparation and more. We are preparing to open the East Union Economic Empowerment Center in Marshville with a fully functioning food pantry to serve this underserved area too.

We love to work collaboratively with other local nonprofits improving the lives of our neighbors in need. You never know what Common Heart will be doing next & Common Things is supporting this work through your purchases!
