New logo for my favorite tufting queen! 🧶👑 Tuft Times is a growing tufting business in Indy selling artful wall rugs and offering tufting classes.

For this logo we wanted to convey traditional toughness meets arts and crafts. A modern gothic font paired with some dainty, arched, barbed wire with decorative details at the ends brought it all together. Created in a few different color ways to change seasonally or with Rachel's mood!

(PS - If you've never tried tufting before, it's a lot of fun, plus you get to use a power tool! Check out one of TT's upcoming classes at tufttimes.com)

My biggest passion project ever... our wedding! 🧡 You know the designer in me had to have all the signage, invites, custom website, programs, lined envelopes, with a fun, funky, fall color palette. It came together beautifully and was so 'us'!

Honestly, I think this is one of my best branding projects to date! 💛

When Maddy came to me with the ideas she had for Body Electric's branding and identity, we both knew I was a perfect fit for this project. I loooooved how much thought Maddy put into gathering inspiration to help me really understand the vision for her business and what she's drawn to visually. We ended up with some really great ideas and fun extras, like the lightbulb head lady sticker!

Also, can I tell you how OBSESSED I am with the neon light she had made for her booth? Too cool!!

Artist statement:
My stylistic preferences have always been drawn to 60s/70s art, modern design, bold colors and shapes. I looked to Rubin’s vase for inspiration, as well as pop/modern/contemporary art (shoutout to Milton Glaser especially) for colors, lines, and shapes. Creating human faces in the negative spaces of the lamp base speaks to the body-themed decor and restored lamps that are a main focus for Body Electric Vintage. Making the logo an overall pill shape, including multicolored lines, and using a clean, retro typeface gives it a true vintage vibe. The color palette is bold and versatile, with the yellow cleverly placed in the center of the logo to make the lamp look like it’s on.

A romantic little invitation suite for Indy Ballet's annual gala! This year's theme, 🌹 Romeo and Juliet 🌹

I had a clever idea to create a view from Juliet's balcony for the Save the Date postcard, and then Romeo's view for the folded invitation and envelope.

Pictured: save the date postcard, folded invitation, envelope, my favorite window, and an idea that didn't quite make the cut 🤩
