🚨 Fellow Spotlight 🚨

Meet Dr. Jack Graham, the next of our 2024-2025 fellows that we are so excited to have join us this year:

Hometown: Easton, PA

Undergrad: Clemson University

Med School: Jefferson Medical College

Residency: Rothman Orthopaedic Institute / Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

When I’m not in the hospital I enjoy: golfing, hanging with my family & friends, hiking, spending time at the beach / lake, Clemson football (& tailgates), Philadelphia 76ers basketball

Why Hand Surgery?: We have the privilege to take care of patients of all ages with widely varying severity of pathology. By helping improve a patient’s hand function, we enable them to return to the hobbies and activities that make them who they are. I find that incredibly rewarding.

Why I chose Indy Hand for fellowship: I believe the dedication to fellow education and mentorship here is truly second to none. The high volume, wide variety of cases, level of autonomy, and strong reputation / alumni network make Indy an ideal place to train.

🚨 Fellow Spotlight 🚨

Meet Dr. Lazaro Mesa, the next of our 2024-2025 fellows that we can’t wait to introduce to you:

Hometown: Miami, FL

Undergrad/Med School: FIU x 2 (paws up!)

Residency: University of South Florida/Florida Orthopaedic Institute

When I’m not in the hospital I enjoy: motorsports, grilling, fishing, hanging out with friends and family

Why Hand Surgery: hand surgery offer the widest scope in orthopaedics. I like the idea of owning the extremity and handling issues involving bone, vessels, nerve etc.

Why I chose Indy Hand for fellowship: Indy hand is and has been one of the premier hand and upper extremity fellowship in the US. It’s a large program with a wealth of knowledge from well known staff. The Indy hand network has also been instrumental in finding the right job for me.
