Cooler temperatures are sticking around overnight, with temperatures falling into the mid to low 50s.
A few showers and strong, gusty thunderstorms will move in by Tuesday afternoon.
We are keeping a close eye on the forecast for Wednesday. Currently, the Storm Prediction Center has the vast majority of Central Indiana in a Level 3 Enhanced risk for severe storms. We are still fine-tuning details regarding the forecast for Wednesday, but all modes of severe weather appear possible in the afternoon through the late evening.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for portions of Central Indiana through 10 pm. This watch is in effect for Boone, Carroll, Clinton, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Madison, Marion, Montgomery, Randolph, Rush, Tippecanoe, Tipton, and Warren County.
The primary concern with any showers and thunderstorms will be the potential for strong winds, gusting up to 60 miles per hour. We are also looking at the potential for large hail and heavy downpours across the region.
