Rui Lucena (Lisbon, 1973), studied jazz and piano (Ana Paula Sousa), having attended numerous drum and percussion workshops with prominent names in jazz and improvised music (Max Roach, Tony Williams and Bill Stewart). He was involved in several musical projects with stints in punk, jazz-rock, rock, pop, experimental music and postrock. Of the projects he was involved in, Corrosão Caótica, Blue Moves, Ghost in the Machine, Inspetores, Eletro Cordel, Recitalnoise, Blaze & The Stars and Accumulated Dust stand out, while maintaining activity with Silver & Scout, Lost Train Trio and Piananimal. In addition to being an instrumentalist, he also composes music and sound design work for plays and performing arts.
