A typical shed is constructed from a kit that utilizes the minimum lumber thickness and strength and the least expensive siding options to keep the costs down. That’s great if you are just storing your lawnmower. ⁣

At Oasis Studio Sheds, are superior construct adds livable space to your property. Our structures are stick framed with 2x4 construction exceeding the standards required for home construction in Indiana. Typical foundations for a shed may include a layer of gravel spread out and compacted to support 4x4 posts laying on the ground on which the floor system is layed. Our studio foundations include, at a minimum, column footers installed at a minimum 30" below grade so to prevent destabilization that commonly occurs due to the freeze-thaw cycles present in Indiana. ⁣
