EV Talk: California the nations leader in pushing EV ownership has offered tax breaks for EV purchases, but is now realizing they don’t get enough money for road maintenance with the lack of fuel purchases from EV owners and is now legislating a .30 per mile tax for all EV owners.
Basically it would be cheaper to drive a fuel efficient combustion car if it passes.
