anyways, I’ve changed the name of this as well. to something that fits a bit more.

this new name is inspired by the women that raised me, most specifically, my mother and aunt.

while there’s so much that’s shaped me, there has never been anyone more prominent in my life.

through my mom, I learned that there’s power in weakness and how to make even the darkest moments shine - even despite her flawed moments my aunt - to keep going and keep your expectations high - the only thing that dwindles your path is you. life’s gonna happen, of course, but it’s about how you make it out and who you decide to be.

I started this to be inspirational - and then I decided I want to inspire through my authenticity. for so long, ive allowed others to bring me shame, guilt, or fear for speaking about the hard things that happened in my life, the way I’ve reacted to it, etc.

but, life’s a feeling process - a growing one. I may feel embarrassed about things that have happened, or get angry while retelling things, but i feel nothing but love and pride for the way I’ve shown up for myself and for others, despite what I was struggling with.

I think, it’s important to talk about the things that forced us to grow, because what we may be experiencing, others also might. and everyone deserves to know that no matter what life throws at you, no matter who leaves, you’re never truly alone.

Idk - I think a lot of yall would benefit from realizing that a lot of your misery comes from your friends - look out for the people that want you around to feel better about themselves. Don’t let them steal you light

Break out of your shell - let yourself be bold and passionate. Work through your fear, don’t worry about how you’re perceived. You already are who you’re supposed to be

I don’t care who you think you are to me - you not god.
