I love hearing unique business names. The names that make me want to instantly learn more about a company.

My curiosity is piqued by unique names because I associate them with a story. And who doesn't love a good story? 🙌

My business name, ELM Digital Solutions, was something I decided on very early in my freelancing career. I was actually told to just go with my name, Erica Miller, in case I wanted to offer a variety of services (social media management, blogging, etc).

But it felt bland. No offense to my husband, but "Miller" isn't the most unique name out there. 😂

But initials...those can be unique. And, when those initials stand for an actual word, how can you NOT use them?

My business name blends the natural with the digital.

I love the image of a strong tree (ELM) that plants its roots deep in the soil. Firm, constant, trustworthy, and true. 🌳

I also love "digital solutions" - every branding, copywriting, or web design problem has a solution. You just need someone to come alongside you and your business to work through the issue.

In every season of business and life, the ELM "tree" can look different, but it's always growing.
