Summer school at Hope Academy is about more than making up credits.

It’s an opportunity for students to stay engaged, build momentum, and continue moving forward in both academics and recovery.

Throughout the summer, students showed up, put in the work, and kept investing in their future.

Progress often looks like consistency, effort, and choosing to keep going.

The Hope Academy team has returned from the 2026 ARHE/ARS/AAPG Annual Conference in Denver and we are feeling inspired and energized!

Over the last several days, we joined recovery school coaches, teachers, and administrators from across the country to learn from one another and share what we've learned at Hope Academy.

Our team presented on two topics that are central to our mission: building a strong recovery and wellness curriculum and creating long-term sustainability for lasting impact.

With nearly 50 recovery high schools now serving students nationwide, it's thrilling to see this movement continue to grow. As the need for recovery support increases, so does the commitment of hundreds of educators, clinicians, and advocates who believe young people with substance use disorder deserve every opportunity to thrive.

We are grateful for the opportunity to represent Hope Academy, connect with so many passionate colleagues, and bring new ideas back to Indianapolis.
