Was doing some light reading this morning.
An article mentioned carbon reduction facilities and how they worked and how much they could take out of the environment.
They said their foot print would only be 100 acres each only costing 125 million each to build. Also 30 million to run each year.
So I ask Google how much a 100 acres of forest could remove.
Surprise! The forest can remove over twice as much as that facilitie can using the same footprint.
But there's more! The forest provides planet cooling shade, homes for animals, all kinds of good stuff that the plant doesn't.
Why build then. It's simply a money game called politicians scaring the people so they can collect more taxes.
Oh by the way the cost to build that forest... it's nothing! Its also more efficient from day one. That's why it's not considered to be an intelligent choice.
Can you say making money out of thin air.
