Day one of the Gr8 Pasta Push is here — and there's still time to jump in. 🍝
Whether you round up a few boxes from the pantry or rally your whole office, every pound of pasta helps us turn rescued food into meals for our neighbors across Central Indiana.
Not a pasta person? You can give online instead — and right now, every dollar is matched up to $10,000, so your gift goes twice as far.
✅ Sign up to raise pasta + see every public drop-off spot (including Marion County Krogers) on the map: https://www.secondhelpings.org/pasta/
✅ Give online (double your impact!): https://connect.clickandpledge.com/Organization/secondhelpings/campaign/gr8pastapush2026
And mark your calendar: this Saturday, [June 6], drop pasta off in person from 10 AM–2 PM at 5 Kroger locations — Geist, Brownsburg, Southport Road, Thompson Road, and Speedway. We'll be there to take it off your hands!

This Thursday, the Gr8 Pasta Push is officially on.
Every week our Hunger Relief kitchen uses approximately 1,500 pounds of cooked pasta to feed neighbors across Central Indiana. From June 4 through June 18, we're asking our community to help us keep that supply stocked, and this year it's easier than ever.
Every Kroger location in Marion County is a drop-off site. (Kroger even has pasta on sale through today!) Grab a few boxes and you're ready to go.
And on Saturday, June 6, our team will be at five Kroger locations in person from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Come find us at:
📍 5350 E. Thompson Rd., Indianapolis
📍 975 N. Green St., Brownsburg
📍 5718 Crawfordsville Rd., Indianapolis
📍 1330 W. Southport Rd., Indianapolis
📍 9835 Fall Creek Rd., Indianapolis
Two Golden Colanders are up for grabs, one for the most pasta collected, one for the most funds raised. And thanks to two anonymous donors, there's a $10,000 match on all funds raised. Every dollar goes twice as far.
Small acts. Big impact. Let's push some pasta. 💚

Twenty years ago, Kim Kiser walked through our doors as a volunteer.
She didn't leave.
Over the next two decades, Kim worked in our Hunger Relief kitchen for eight and a half years — hands on, meals out the door, day after day — before bringing all of that passion and institutional knowledge to our development team, where she works today as our Development Coordinator.
Kim's journey is a beautiful reminder that there are a lot of ways to show up for a mission. Sometimes you start by giving your time. Sometimes that time turns into a career.
Sometimes that career turns into twenty years of changing lives across Central Indiana.
We are so grateful for you, Kim. Here's to twenty more. 💚
