We recently held an in-service for our staff highlighting the role of music therapy in recovery from opioid use disorder. We’re excited to continue learning about the growing evidence behind music therapy and how it helps retrain the brain, restore impulse control, and reconnect individuals with healthy sources of pleasure like music. Recovery is about rediscovering joy, regulation, and connection—and sometimes, it starts with a song.
