Announcing the closure of my Indianapolis Balance MD office. With rising overhead costs year after year and stagnant or reduced payments from private health insurance companies, not to mention the 33% reduction in Medicare payments over the last 20 years (taking into account inflation) and the 2.83% Medicare pay cut this year along with the threat of further payment reductions related to MACRA/MIPS, I can no longer afford to keep my Indianapolis office open. BalanceMD in Indianapolis will be closed by May 17, 2025. I will continue to see patients in my Lafayette BalanceMD location or by telemedicine indefinitely. Thank you.
