Meet Makenna!

Makenna has a strong work ethic and attention to detail, making Stable Space programs look seamless!

Outside of Stable Space, Makenna works for a functional medicine practice and is passionate about holistic wellness, nervous system health, and the healing power of meaningful connection.

When not working, she’s likely spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Makenna has a beautiful, inviting spirit and a passion for equine-assisted services. We are so lucky to have her join our team as a program assistant!

One thing that makes Stable Space camps different than traditional horse camps is that we intentionally build in moments of reflection.

Experiential learning becomes more powerful when we integrate what we’ve learned and connect it to our lives outside of that one moment.

During our camps, we reflect through conversation, art, and play. We’re not just hanging out with horses, we’re also developing social-emotional literacy and building a repertoire of coping skills.

But if we’re doing it right, for our campers, it just feels like fun!
