Common Ground at Faith

Another fabulous day of camp! We asked the campers to write what they like about camp. Scroll through the photos to see some of their sweet responses.

Day #3 of camp was another success! These young people are ready to learn, grow and have fun! Not only are they having fun, but they are extremely helpful. At the Old Bethel and Partners Food Pantry they worked hard to get food ready to distribute to our neighbors tomorrow. They are planting dozens of native plants every day for Indy Urban Acres. We all appreciate their efforts with Marion County, Indiana 4-H, because the food they prepare is so yummy! They were so helpful at Lakeside Elementary too as they work the garden. We can't wait to see them tomorrow!

Summer Camp Day 2 was a blast! Everyone decorated a camp shirt, we have some artists in this group. The group learning about nutrition from Marion County, Indiana 4-H cooked up mini pancakes for lunch - delish! The campers at the Old Bethel and Partners Food Pantry helped to fill hundreds of carts to help feed our neighbors. The farmers assisted Indy Urban Acres to plant dozens of Native Plants at Common Ground at Faith. The group at Lakeside Elementary worked hard to clean up their garden. The students from MSD Warren Township are having a blast and excited to learn more tomorrow!

Today was the first day of the MSD Warren Township Day Camp at Common Ground at Faith. Campers will volunteer at Old Bethel and Partners Food Pantry, farm at Indy Urban Acres, learn about nature at Lakeside Elementary and prepare fresh food with Marion County, Indiana 4-H. We have 40 campers and 15 counselors all from MSD Warren Township schools. We had a blast today and can't wait for the rest of the week!

Common Ground at Faith Clean Up Days We have a lot happening at Common Ground at Faith! Help us spruce up the space. We need volunteers to help do outdoor work (planting, power washing, painting) and indoor work (painting, pulling up carpet, cleaning). Volunteers of all ages and ability levels are welcome!

We’re thrilled to share that Common Ground at Faith has been awarded a $75,000 grant from Glick Philanthropies!

This incredible investment will help us continue bringing essential resources together under one roof, making it easier for our neighbors to access the support they need. We are so grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to strengthen our community together!

The garden at Lakeside Elementary is producing some delicious vegetables! Thanks to our friends at Altrusa International of Indianapolis, Inc. this produce is being shared with shoppers at the Old Bethel and Partners Food Pantry
