Arguably the No. 1 complaint journalists hear from the public is, Why don't you cover more good news? Well, we didn't set out to do that on purpose exactly, but when in seven states went looking for people building community in a divided nation, they had no trouble finding them. From Peoga, Indiana's Big Little Parade to Trenton, New Jersey's Old Barracks Founders Day to Seattle, Washington's green collegiate baseball diamond, Americans are finding ways to come together—if only for an afternoon.

Our series runs today through Saturday the Fourth, and we hope you love it. It's definitely some good news.
