It’s been a few days, but we made the trip home and are still excited to look back on our weekend & the fun we had, and thankful for the opportunities & people God has put in our lives.

The Open Wheel Showdown itself has been a genuinely fun event to compete in. Every time that you’re on track it is with intent & purpose, working through each session with a specific goal and the feature finale still in mind. The competition shows up each and every day, and there are so many fast cars, that to run well at an event like this is really special.

I’m grateful for the chance to drive the RAM Engineering – thanks to Dick, Rick, Dennis, John, Kendra & Walt for their help at the track, for Dave & Duane helping to get it ready at the shop, Deborah for all she does, and everyone who puts in effort for this car. And thanks to each of our families for all of the ways they support each of us through a season and event like this.

I’m thankful for everyone who supported an effort of this magnitude, including our sponsors Lyons Transportation, Rosewood Machine and Tool, Bertrand Motorsports, Hamada Logistics, Binks Motorsports, Welsch Heating & Cooling, Justice Brothers, Level Performance and Mission Foods. Also want to recognize everyone at the BitNile.com Open Wheel Showdown – from Davey Jr & Stuart, to all of their Staff, Media & Officials, and to all of their partners who help them make it possible. There is no doubt that this event would be a huge undertaking, and has been our biggest event of the year. Since that first year, I feel like it has been propelling this type of racing forward, and is something we as competitors are so grateful to attend & be part of!
