What a first week of Summer Camp!

Campers explored, played, moved, laughed, learned, and built new friendships along the way.

The first week of PLC Summer Camp is underway, and the energy around Peace Learning Center has officially shifted into full summer mode ☀️🌿

Campers are already building friendships, learning teamwork, exploring social-emotional skills, and spending time outdoors in the beautiful setting of Eagle Creek Park.

This week’s SEL + Movement Camp combines confidence-building, reflection, and community with hands-on activities led by amazing partners including Indiana Soccer Association, Dazzling Gems Allstars, Stable Space, and nine13sports.

We loved seeing our campers help create this year’s camp group agreements:

From sidewalk chalk welcomes to colorful water bottles, movement activities, laughter, and new connections, summer at PLC is officially here.

Summer Camp season is getting close at Peace Learning Center, and this week our counselors and junior counselors are already hard at work preparing for it. ☀️🌿

Inside the PLC lodge at Eagle Creek Park, camp staff are learning how to lead Opening Circles, build trust, support teamwork, and create spaces where kids feel welcomed and valued from day one.

We loved seeing today’s group agreements take shape on the board:

• Be caring
• Be a team player
• Be curious

That’s the culture we want every camper to experience this summer.

Soon these same spaces will be filled with campfires, nature hikes, laughter, creativity, friendship, and kids discovering confidence in themselves and each other.
