Isaiah 9:6 reminds us of the profound joy and hope that fills our hearts during this season! “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

This timeless verse resonates with the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. As we gather in worship, let us celebrate the ultimate gift of love, the embodiment of hope, and the source of everlasting peace.

May the Wonderful Counselor guide us, the Mighty God empower us, the Everlasting Father embrace us, and the Prince of Peace fill our lives with His divine serenity.

On Friday, He hung on the cross. Suffered and sacrificed for our sin. The price of sin was paid with His blood. Yet death could hold Him. He is alive again. He is risen! This is our joy today!
