We currently have several openings in multiple groups with a focus on Addiction and Attachment. Groups meet weekly, for one hour and twenty minutes. The fee is $60 per group meeting. These groups help clients explore the ways their relationships with substances (alcohol, opioids, etc.) or processes (gambling, love & s*x, po*******hy, etc.) affects and is affected by their emotional connections with others. These groups are ideal for clients who are interested in exploring these dynamics and increasing their success with regulating their addictive patterns. Clients who have recently been discharged from rehab find these groups particularly helpful. Clients who have been working on their addictive patterns in individual therapy also find these groups useful. The group therapist will work closely with the referring therapist and we request that clients remain in therapy with their current therapist until termination is agreed upon by all parties.

Group therapy has been a standard, evidence-based part of mental health treatment programs for over 60 years. Group therapy works by providing the group as a living laboratory in which to learn about the patterns which inhibit or complicate how we relate to others. It then helps members try out or experiment with new behaviors in the immediate-feedback environment of the group.
