The Breaking Barriers Scholarship Program is named in honor of Dr. Daisy Riley Lloyd, the first Black woman to be granted MIBOR membership.

A trailblazer in the real estate industry and a dedicated advocate for equity, Dr. Lloyd worked tirelessly to expand opportunities for Black and Brown communities throughout Indianapolis. Her legacy continues to guide and inspire our commitment to supporting the next generation of diverse real estate professionals.

Applications are now open for the next round of the Breaking Barriers scholarship! The deadline to apply is July 31.

We recently hosted our first of a three part Cultural Lunch & Learn series in partnership with the Immigrant Welcome Center. Attendees joined us for an engaging discussion exploring Nigerian culture, traditions, and perspectives on homeownership.

Participants gained valuable insights into supporting clients navigating the U.S. homebuying process while strengthening cultural awareness and connection. Plus, everyone enjoyed an authentic Nigerian lunch that highlighted the important role food plays in cultural identity.
